In mid-June 2013, I was invited to play ATV by Paddy Adventure Bali. Incidentally one of the owners is my brother named Ronald. I used to call him Mas Rony. While waiting to be picked up by Mas Rony, I ran early morning along the lines of Seminyak Beach and Double Six Beach. Around 9 am, finally the car pickup from Paddy Adventure to the front of the hotel where I stay in Seminyak area. The journey to Tabanan from Seminyak alone takes less than 2 hours. During the trip, we passed the area of ​​rice fields and custom kampung. The natural atmosphere of Bali is still beautiful and quiet remind me with Ubud area. The difference is that in Ubud, the natural conditions have been processed and the development is more developed. While in Tabanan, the landscape of the land is still very natural and the development has not been as fast as in Ubud area.

Around 10 o'clock we arrive at the Paddy Adventure basecamp located on the hill. The building consists of 3 main masses, where every building mass must be reached by climbing the ladder steps. The first is a recipient building where there is an open space that serves as a lobby, as well as the registration room. After filling out the registration form, I went up to the top of the basecamp. The mass of the second building is the restaurant area. Here I was treated to a welcome drink of fresh orange ice while waiting for ATV's turn. After my turn, I was accompanied by Mas Rony to the ATV area. In this ATV area there are lockers for storing personal items and bathrooms. Once finished wearing boots and storing items in the locker, me and Mas Rony immediately choose which ATV vehicles we will ride. Before plunging into the adventure route, I exercise first to get used to the vehicle I choose. In addition to Mas Rony, I will walk together with a large Russian tourist couple, as well as two members of Land Rover Bali. ATV trails that we will pass most of the field is quite extensive fields and hilly areas. The first track we pass in the form of mud and rocks are big enough at the bottom. This ATV machine does not have power steering, so it must use the power of the entire body to control it. After the muddy area, the steep direct roads decreased and we arrived at the asphalt area. The initial track is quite relaxed, by passing a concrete path in the middle of rice fields owned by local residents. The beautiful landscape of Tabanan makes us stop for photographs occasionally. At first I feel bad with local people who often run into us, this is due to the noise of ATV engines are rather noisy. Actually, his voice is normal, but because in the rice field the natural atmosphere is quite calm so still seems noisy. But not according to my estimates, it turns out the surrounding population is friendly enough. My brother said, the Paddy Adventure guides are local residents as well.

After passing the fields, the streets began to steep and muddy. One of them is the descending street where after to below we have to direct cornering to the right. The condition of the soil is quite slippery because of the mud caused by heavy rains all night long. Most novice riders do not want to continue on seeing this field. There is even a desperate jump when ATV is sliding down. The trick when facing steep terrain is we should not turn the gas. Simply glide by gravity, and control ATV with your body weight. Once down, we immediately swerved to the right and immediately step on the gas. Not bad trigger adrenaline hell .. In addition, we also pass a ditch that the height of the water until the knee when we stand in it. Here we do not need to step on the gas too deep, just gear two and go slowly. The bottom of the trench which is the rock also helps traction on ATV tires. ATV After encircling the field is quite heavy for 1 hour, we rest in the hills. Fresh country air and a quiet atmosphere really fit for refreshing, away from the heat of the city. While resting, Mas Rony also tells a lot about Paddy Adventure, ATV machines are used, as well as maintenance. Not infrequently the drivers who most beginners often fall, even desperate jump. In addition to dangerous for the driver itself, this certainly causes the ATV can suffer a fairly severe damage. Overall, the selected track is very challenging.
